Resolution

The final size of your poster will be bigger than the computer screen you create it on. Images that look crisp and clear on your computer monitor may not look as good when they are printed out. Images with a resolution of 72 dpi are fine for computer displays, but for large printed images 300 dpi is preferable. Low resolution images will look pixelated and blurry when they are enlarged.

Move the mouse across the photo to see how high and low resolution images will appear when they are printed.
